Rental Plan
Our rental plan is designed to provide time to establish whether music aptitude and interest exist, while accumulating credit toward the purchase of the rented instrument, or one of equal or greater value.
We rent online to persons 21 years of age or older, residing in Skagit or Whatcom Counties with valid identification and credit/debit card information. Those who wish to pay with cash or checking account may complete the rental application online but will need to pick up the instrument in the store to complete the transaction.
All instruments are professionally adjusted and serviced between rentals.
We use the latest secure encryption technology, so you can be assured your information is safe. Simply fill out the secure online rental form. In some cases, school delivery is available.
- Minimum rental period is ONE month with convenient payment options.
- No interest charges are added to our rent only contract.
- All taxes and maintenance fees are included in the rental rates.
- There is no additional cost for normal maintenance and repair unless the instrument is irreparably damaged, lost, or stolen. Normal repair time is usually less than 3 days, except during the summer. If the instrument is totally destroyed, lost, or stolen, the renter must buy the instrument outright, but will receive their rental credit plus a purchase discount.
- Although not required except on a full-size cello, we can help you secure an ALL-RISK insurance policy available through Music Agency, inc. (www.musicagencyinc.com) to protect your rented instrument against loss or theft. This very affordable insurance is approved by the Washington State Insurance Commission.
- Customers have the option to return or purchase the instrument at any time.
- At any time, if the contract is current, the renter may switch to a different type of instrument and maintain all or a substantial amount of their rental credit.
- Rental customers qualify for special offers and discounts throughout the year.
- All of our rentals are student model instruments that are set up to MENC standards (www.menc.org).
